Start by telling me your idea

Dinner, an evening as your boyfriend for the occasion and a trip involve different arrangements. To begin, share the city, an approximate date, how much time you would like together and the occasion. I’m Cristiano, based in Spain, and I consider European travel by prior arrangement.

You can write while some details are still undecided. Before preparing a full quote, we check availability and whether we get along. Asking for information does not commit you to a booking or require details about your finances or intimate life.

Agree on the duration and location

For dinner, clarify whether you mean just the time at the restaurant or meeting beforehand and taking a walk afterwards too. For an event, include its timings and any transfers. A fee should correspond to recognisable plans, rather than an open-ended duration.

If you would like me to come to your city, we consider the journey from Spain, the time required and any accommodation. Availability is not assumed for every city or date. A trip lasting several days also needs to distinguish shared activities from time apart.

What to clarify in a quote

Ask for the fee for shared time to be distinguished from possible expenses: transport, accommodation, meals, tickets and admission. Each item should state whether it is included, estimated or paid separately, and who makes the reservation.

A total is meaningful only when you know which plans it covers. For dinner involving travel, for example, check whether the journey and meal are included. This is an example of questions to ask, not an advertised offer or an existing package.

Before confirming: changes and payment

We agree on how to confirm the plans, payment arrangements and deadlines, and what happens if either of us needs to change the date or cancel. Any deposit also needs to be discussed, without assuming terms that we have not agreed.

Where tickets or reservations have their own conditions, check which costs would remain if plans change. Extra time or different activities require a further agreement; they should not arrive as surprises at the end of the meeting.

A simple message to begin

“Hello Cristiano, I would like to get to know you and arrange [dinner / an event / a trip] in [city], around [date]. I had [duration] in mind. Could we talk and then explore a proposal?”.

You can choose something that interests you and take your time deciding. Getting to know each other comes before confirmation; the fee, duration and expenses still need to be clear before the meeting is booked.
