Being local and being available are different
A companion may live in the city, visit on particular dates or travel for an agreed meeting. Read how they describe their base and ask about availability for your plans. Someone living nearby may still have other commitments.
In my case, I live in Spain. My destination pages describe occasions we can arrange; they do not indicate local offices or a permanent presence. Every trip is considered before confirmation.
If your date is fixed or time is short
Include the day, city and the hours you would like to meet. If staying close to your accommodation matters to you, share an approximate area. We can choose a convenient place without starting with a private address.
For a same-day enquiry, I cannot assume travel and a meeting will be possible. If several hours of transport are involved, we can consider another date. Do not book tickets or accommodation for me before confirmation.
If you can choose between cities or dates
Put the alternatives in one message: “I will be in Madrid on [date] and Marbella on [date]; I would enjoy dinner with you in either city.” This lets us compare actual plans without treating each destination as confirmed availability.
Explore the local pages for ideas about the occasion. The fee for our time together and travel expenses are then clarified in the quote.
A question you can send me
“Hello Cristiano, I’m looking for company in [city or area] on [date], for [duration]. I would enjoy [dinner / a boyfriend for an evening]. Could you be here? If travel is needed, could we discuss it before deciding?”.
Proximity is a useful preference to explain, alongside chemistry and the occasion. If you have several days or a trip together in mind, the dedicated guide covers the arrangements.
